Drake Esterwood, better known as the Dead End killer, or simply Dead End, is the main antagonist of. He is a vengeful, schizophrenic ghost.
Personality[]
Prior to his death, Drake was shown to be an extremely quiet, troubled, and insecure individual. Due to suffering from schizophrenia, Drake found it very hard to maintain relationships, and often got bullied as a result. In conclusion, he was a weird, but certainly not rude, person.
After dying and coming back from the dead, Drake’s personality became twisted. Having had been bullied and abused his entire life had already damaged his already hurt mind, but it was him getting brutally murdered and no one caring or being able to help him that finally broke his spirit.
Despite these drastic changes, some of Drake's more pleasant and humane traits were retained.
Ultimately, it was his love for Aaliyah that allowed him to break free from the constant torture he endured from his memories of the past.
Appearance[]
As a living human, Drake was a young, lean teenage boy. He had blue eyes and freckles along with blonde hair. He had a habit of wearing a blue sweater, on top of a white-collar shirt.
As Dead End, Drake’s skin is now badly burnt. He now has red eyes and lacks a nose and is bald. He wears a red collar shirt underneath a black sweater. He wears black pants, black shoes, and black gloves. He is always shown wearing his hoodie and wears a black mask with a bloody smile painted on it.

- Throughout the book, Dead End shares a lot of his favorites with Aaliyah. These include:
-His favorite colors are red and black (formerly blue and white)
-His favorite food is spaghetti and meatballs.
- Dead End appears to be left-handed. This is shown when he wields his machete, and also when he writes the walls with blood.
